SUMMER CAMP II

Well, the second session of summer camp is officially over now.

These weeks keep going by faster and faster!!

We played Cowboys and Indians in class one day, but it ended up turning into building barricades/ capture the flag. 

Ohhh the best game ever.

The theme at camp one of the weeks was Holidays and so we celebrated Valentine's Day and had a sweetheart dance. <3

So they do this thing each session where the kids have to find out which counselor has the "green heel" but in order to find out who has it, the counselors will make the kids do things first.

Apparently one counselor made the older boys wear dresses before they would tell them haha.

And paint their nails...

I'm pretty sure they liked it more than they should have

Hedgehog Hunters

We went hedgehog hunting about two weeks ago and it was a SUCCESS!!!!

We caught little Harold in this handy dandy net Spencer happened upon at camp and then snuck him up into our room to play with and show the other teachers.

We wanted to let him out and have him walk around, but we didn't want to loose him in our room and so we took him into our huge shower and let him out in there.

HOW STINKIN CUTE IS THAT FACE?!?!?!

We were just too overjoyed with our new friend Harold.

NFD Story for y'all!

This happened a few months ago, but I am just now getting around to putting it up.

We met this lovely young chap on the way home one night in Kiev.

Thankfully Olia was with us otherwise Toree and I probably would have been freaking out a wee bit.

He kept asking Olia to marry her but was disappointed to find out that she was already married, then turned to us and kept asking us if he had a chance with us, then turned to serenading Toree :)

Evolution of Dance

At every session of camp all of the American teachers put on a talent show for the kids.

Toree and I put together a little "evolution of dance" for them :)

Oh my goodness.

Honestly words cannot even describe how awesome the first session of camp was!! 

I loved all of these kids so dang much!

All of the girls were braiding my hair while the boys were fanning me with their hats. It was too great! They are all so precious!! They seriously treated us like celebrities haha
